My photography
Based in Stoke on Trent
I am originally from Manchester but now live in Stoke-on-Trent. My images are the result of my wanderings with my camera. Sometimes, I set out to capture specific species or work on small projects. Other times, I wander without a plan and capture pictures I might have otherwise missed Without my camera.
Natural Nature
All wildlife is photographed with minimal disruption. A Range of photographic equipment, field craft and other non-invasive techniques are used to keep the image as natural as possible and minimum stress to the subject of the image or its surroundings. Any exotic species featured are captive-bred (unless stated) and images are taken at rescue centres, zoos, wildlife parks, and also via reputable businesses or charities.
Photoshop & AI
All images are taken with a DSLR camera (or similar).
As with any image, sometimes they need a little TLC with some editing software. I always use editing software as little as possible and keep any image as close as I can to the original. I would rather delete an image than manipulate it to create a new unreconisale image.
I DO NOT create any image using AI.
